About me   2 comments

My name is Kevin Cox and I am a cliché. I was born to Irish-American parents in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Red Hook is a tough section of the Brooklyn waterfront. It gave the world Al Capone and Joey Gallo. As they say if you grow up there you become a hood, a cop or a priest. I liked women too much, so the cloth was out. It was touch and go but I went the cop route. I have been married divorced and remarried. She is a nurse. So Irish, cop, divorced, marries a nurse as I said a cliché. So now I am writing this and also writing a book that probably no one will ever read. I really don’t care if anyone does. I am writing it for myself and my children. I am a follower of a great philosopher. If you follow his teachings it will make your life better. This his word.

” I yam what I yam and that’s all what I yam”. So sayeth Popeye the Sailor. Learn it, live it.

  1. Kevin: enjoyed it. Though not an 83 ptl., the T.S. story jogged a funny memory in the old 25 Pct. [ 100 + years old on E. 126 St., Harlem] A frequent psycho visitor came in one day when I had the T.S. and the thought came to me he was in need of some “help”. I had him bend over & close his eyes & I plugged two leads of the switchboard into each ear. Had him open his eyes, and lighted all the lines on the board-“To cure what ever ailed him”. He left “refreshed” until the next visit. Everyone in the house was cut off the phone, but all laughed themselves silly. Great old house too. Jack Lincks, 25 Pct.

  2. I have a psycho cure story I will send out at a future time.
