motto I was watching TV and they were talking about the outpouring of support for LA Cop Killer Christopher Dorner. The talking heads couldn’t understand why it was happening. They were shocked by it. I don’t know why it surprised them. It was to be expected, it was not the first time. I expect a movie to be made soon about Dorner. He of course will be portrayed as a martyred hero. The Hollywood crowd does not consider dead cops of any importance, except as a plot device. They flaunt their disdain for cops when they hire rap stars who sing about killing cops to play cops on screen.

Whenever a cop killer comes up for parole there is an outpouring of support for them. This usually starts with the far left Hollywood crowd. A recent example is Mumia Abu-Jamal a Philadelphia Cop Killer. They have also supported parole for the BLA murders of Waverly Jones, Joseph Piagentini, Gregory Foster and Rocco Laurie among many others. I feel they believe these killers are folk heroes. As for the cops who get killed they are of minor importance. They are only cops, it’s not like they are real people. They are just extras in the movie of life.

So there is no reason to be surprised by the support. Many people follow the lead of their Hollywood heroes. It’s the villain as hero and hero as fool mentality. I spent under 15 years with the NYPD and in that time 108 NYC cops died Line of Duty. They are mostly forgotten except by their families, friends and the cops who worked with them. Hollywood stars will not be giving speeches about those brave men. They will be too busy trying to free the killers.

I do not mean to suggest that all liberals or even most of the left feel this way. I am talking about the extreme far left America hating set. The ones I believe feel this way are the Michael Moore, Sean Penn troop, the vicious anti-police brigade. I used to believe they were acting like assholes, but I have come to understand they are not acting.

  1. I have enjoyed all of your posts to date, enjoying reading about all of the stories I heard when we worked together. This, my friend, is your best post and I could not agree more. I appreciate your honesty in today’s politically correct society.

  2. Great post, I agree with Dennis. It is the ones on the front line who see the true side of it. As a psychiatric nurse for over 20 years,my unsung heroes are the ones beat down so bad, they can’t work anymore.

  3. Well put- they are not acting!
